ABOUT ICAI

CAThe Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (Act No. XXXVIII of 1949) for the regulation of the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. During its more than five decades of existence, ICAI has achieved recognition as a premier accounting body not only in the country but also globally, for its contribution in the fields of education, professional development, maintenance of high accounting, auditing and ethical standards. ICAI now is the second largest accounting body in the whole world.

ABOUT CIRC

The Office of Central India Regional Council (CIRC) is situated at Kanpur having 34 Branches at Agra, Ajmer, Allahabad, Alwar, Bareilly, Bhilai, Bhilwara, Bhopal, Bilaspur, Dehradun, Dhanbad, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Gwalaior, Inodre, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Jodhpur, Kota, Lucknow, Mathura, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Noida, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Saharanpur, Udaipur, Ujjain, Varanasi, CPE Chapters at Beawar, Bikaner, Bilaspur, Bhagalpur, Bhiwadi, Bundelkhand, Chittorgarh, Gorakhpur, Kumaon, Pali Marwar, Ratlam, Sri Ganganagar, Shekhawati and 16 CPE study groups at to discharge the functioning of the Regional Council.

Central Region of the Institute consist of seven states viz. UP, Uttaranchal, MP, Chattishgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand & Rajasthan. Currently over 1,00,000 students are pursuing the Chartered Accountancy Course and the total number of Members of the Central Region is more than 18000.
